What software do you use to transfer files to your MP3 player?

I have a Rio 600, and the Rio Audio Manager that it came with is garbage. I'm currently using Windows Media Player 7, but it's not that great.

All I really want is to be able to use a Windows File Manager-like interface and drag'n'drop MP3 (and WMA) files to my player, and to be able to tell how much memory is left on my player.

I use Notmad Explorer from Red Chair Software, which is exactly as you want. Problem is that it is for Creative's Nomad players....I haven't heard of someone using it for the RIO. There is another alternative out there, but the name escapes me for the moment.

Unfortunately, Notmad is only for the Nomad.

Anyone out there who got in on the Best Buy Rio 600 for $50 deal? What do you use?

The freeware version of Notmad Explorer has more than enough functionality for what you want to do, but at $15, Notmad Explorer for the Nomad II is great value.
