What software do you use to make killer presentations?

I'm in a position that really benefits if I can use a presentation as a learning tool. Almost every week if possible I need one.

I've been using PowerPoint and have became pretty good with it. I've taken time off and want to restart, but does anyone know how to make something like THIS.

I've never seen a program that can create like this, so experts: How time-consuming is something like this to produce?

Thanks! Any other pertinent info is welcome!

its probably overkill but you could use something like autodesk combustion. im sure adobe makes something to do that also.

Hmm.. yes thank you. Pricing is pretty steep at $995 though.

I believe Adobe After Effects is what I need? If looking correctly, academic pricing sits at $350.

I've used this program before: Ovation

It basically works with powerpoint and converts a regular presentation into a much more animated, visually appealing one. It's not going to make it look anywhere as good as the one you linked though.
