what software do you use for dual monitors?

I am just using the extended desktop for now but I would like to have 2 taskbars that put the buttons for the windows on the same monitor as the window. is there any software that will allow you to do this? The card is a Radeon 9600pro. I haven't tried ATI's hydravision software for a long time. Is it better than it used to be? Any other 3rd party alternatives?
