What software do you recommend for keeping private thoughts?

I have Outlook 2002 which has the journal feature but I find it a bit awkward for personal use. Is there something in Win XP or Office 2002 Standard that's good for personal journals? If not, perhaps you can recommend software for keeping private thoughts?

Thank you.

if you want it private, i wouldn't keep it on a pc; but that may just be me. otherwise id just type into a plain text file and keep it encrypted...but i don't see the point in making it more complicated than that.

I don't need any encryption. I just need basic dairy software. Don?t people use diaries anymore?

No, diaries are for girls. I use a journal. And pen and paper is better than any software for the computer. It's more relaxing and safer.
