i would like to be able to call into my main computer via modem from a laptop and then get onto the internet through the home computer which is connected to dsl. the main computer has a v92 modem so i should be able to get connected around 35000bps. i don't want to use pcanywhere, just a direct connection to the internet via my home computer. i do not want to access info on the home computer either. like when you dial into your isp when you are on dial up.
