What software can trace all files/changes made?

I need to know if there is a good program for Windows that can trace every file and change (including registry entries) made to my system when I install something.

Ideally, if would be simple to use and show the before and after values/locations of everything so I know exactly what changes were made.

I know sysinternals has a bunch of tiny programs like filemon and regmon that basically do this, but they are too difficult for me to follow. I want something more dummy proof, if such a thing exists.

I don't know what you're looking for but if it's for removal purposes Revo Uninstaller is a good program available free on cnet, it lists whatever the program's uninstaller left behind including registry items. It creates a Restore Point first. You can choose what if anything is deleted or left alone. Be careful-there are three different levels of cleaning leftover registry files.
