What software can create this sort of image / chart?

Generally I use the in-built shape/image abilities of Powerpoint to get my point across, but for a high opportunity coming up, I want to do something like this:

There's a 3D look to this. Anybody care to suggest a software that I could use to create something like this? I don't have a graphics team to lean on for this, but I think I'm fairly handy with graphics, and even have access to PS CS4, but hopefully an easier (lite) software could get me to this.

Of course, freeware or shareware would be great, but not to limit myself...

Not sure if this will help in giving you anything close to that that gorgeous thing above, but:

It seems most of these are Shareware:

Upon further delving, there are many high end apps to create 3D pie charts, etc.....but they are all REALLY EXPENSIVE.

If you can get close just using Excel, as per first link....that would rock.

Thanks, that does excel pointer work, to a point. I get to create some 3D images. Of course, for what I had in mind, it's not just pie-charts or graphs, but a wider variety of images in general.

I'll check out the other links you shared, thanks again.

I got right off from the image you put up what you have in mind! At least Excel is free. Well, not free, bundled. Face it, high end graphics apps cost a TON.:|

Invest in the CONTENT of your presentation!🙂 Anyone in the audience more into form than content, is......well....NOT WORTHY.:\
