What socket after 2011-v3?

Any word on when the 2011 v3 socket and chipset will be replaced?
I'm looking to upgrade my rig to something brand new.

I know the 1150 socket/chipset is being replaced in a few months with the 1151 socket/z170 chipset, but I haven't heard anything about the higher end.

2011v3 and X99 just came out, they probably won't be replaced for quite some time, especially the socket.

So the 2011-v3 is a brand new socket not just a rehash of the 2011 socket?

Skylake-E + new chipset + new socket will probably be in '17.

The 2011-v3 chipset and socket will live through two generations of cpu...this gen. and the next.
