I remember there were a couple of hybrid ones, but haven't found much infomation.
Anyone?

Looking to keep my 9800 at least a couple more months before jumping on the pci express and upgrading to a ( 7800 / r520 based ) midgrade card(read $200)

The Athlon xp 1700+ overclocked to 1.83ghz during summer (2.1 during winter) needs some upgrading though.

Check around on ASRock's site. They always seem to have some unique designs. I can't say I know too much about their reliability/performance though.

ASRock cheaps out on the components' quality but does have some UNIQUE designs and features. I believe there are also some motherboards with a "GEAR" slot or something like that which allows the usage of either PCI-E or AGP. Dunno though.

Doesn't it basically run the AGP slot in PCI mode? (rambling off stuff I really don't understand, but I think I read that somewhere)

The Biostar NF4ST-A9 has an XGP slot which supports a bunch of AGP cards, mostly the ones it has on his list (Plus a bunch of others that aren't on the list, its mostly on a per try basis) you can find the list here. it is based on the NF4 Ultra chipset for socket 939.
you can buy it here:
Biostar NF4ST-A9 at newegg for 98$

If you have a socket 754 processor you have one choice of the MSI K8N Neo3 with the "AGR" slot (same thing different name) and it is known to support AGP cards on this list this motherboard is based on an NF4-4x chipset...
you can buy it here:
MSI K8N Neo3 at newegg for 75$

Both boards are proven good boards and both are based on the NF4 chipset...depends on your processor and your needs. BTW the MSI board DOES NOT support dual channel memory, in case you were wondering.

If anyone else knows of any others, feel free to add, these are the only two I'm aware of.
