Everything it seems has to be bite-sized anymore, little depth. Who has the time?

Well, Twitter just uped their character limit to 250 I think it is. LOL But yeah, it's all bite sized garbage really. And then those annoying click bait articles. "Number 8 will amaze you!" Pathetic!

Absolutely none beyond a few forums. I can happily say I don't have an account at any of the ones listed...or any others.
My wife set up a Facebook account that's in no way personally identifiable to either of us...and it exists solely for our grandchildren to contact us. (though they now all have cell phones, so it never gets used)

If I post more than a line on FB only my truest friends ever read it I think. They are the only ones who react to it at least. Some moved from here to faraway places. Aus., France, Sweden, Texas. Those reactions are addictive. A digital way to compliment someone, people generously and widely (especially if they're also posting food, pet or vac. pics). Positive reaction is such a basic human need. Funny I so rarely see it out there in the wild. I won't say who, but among my guests one night was a couple. We decided on a whim to start a regular movie night and watch a couple of GoT episodes per visit. At the opening scene where the sub kicks in a bit as the first sound was that ancient, giant gate lifting, the only female in the room grabbed the knee of her boyfriend and said, "Oh yeah, Brad has the good sound." Her boyfriend said, irritated, "We're going to get good sound!" to her. He never really says anything that complimentary, and I notice that's true of most people I encounter (edit: for fear of the worst crime, "kissing ass?"), quick to yell at you for taking a turn wide in a tight parking lot in a minivan. It seems the worst reactions happen when someone is made to wait a few seconds. There is the occasional, rare floor person or cashier who actually seems to enjoy what they're doing and seems genuinely happy to see you, and I found that some can be turned a little bit by adding, "Howzit goin'" to my "Hi." I live in a big city.

I personally use Reddit to follow my various interests (random funny stuff, photography, NBA, gaming, etc.), and Twitter as a backup sports news source (though Reddit seems to have replaced that for me as people post Tweets on reddit super quick).

I do use Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter (and soon Youtube) for a new business venture.

I made a FB and Linkedin account at some point. I have posted 0 things on FB and only look at it maybe once every 2-3 months to keep the account somewhat alive, and I only log on to Linkedin about the same nr of times or fewer, and only to accept some colleagues and stuff. So while it's not really None I don't use the accounts I have either.

Facebook, Twitter and Reddit.

I've had a Twitter account since the early days but spend a whole two hours on it per year.
People who use it love it to no end but people post too much crap so most feeds are 90% crap and a waste of time.
Spend probably 30-60 minutes a day on Reddit.
Spend an hour or so a week looking at FB. I use their messenger way more than the social network.

Nextdoor may be the most useful one but I rarely visit my account. Just get lots of emails from the city gov about civic news.

I have Facebook and Twitter but don't use them much anymore, especially Twitter (never did use it much but my opinion of it has actually grown over time). I just don't feel the need for attention like a lot of people do, especially the younger whipper snappers today (posting updates and pictures all the time). Facebook is nice for staying in touch with family though and Twitter is good for small updates and news.

I lurk Facebook to occasionally laugh at the misery of others.

Thats about it. I have a fake Twitter for some promotions I've signed up for using it... outside of that, I've never touched the Instagram/Tumblr scene.

Reddit is a forum, but in a slightly different formatting. It's definitely not "social networking".

LinkedIn sits there doing nothing for job purposes only. I never post or look on anything other than respond to recruiters that are always fondling my balls.
