I already have fish, and now Id like something else.

So Lizard or Snake.

I want something can be tamed.

Turtle is out of the questions (GF has weird childhood memories of broken shell/death)

Any ideas. Something less prone to attacking would be best, since it is in an office and im sure many will want to hold/see etc

I dont know if I can stomach feeding a snake mice, but maybe it will grow on me.

What type of office is it?

People love ferrets, especially old people. Get one with beaty red eyes and let it loose.

Get Siamese fighting fish. Convince others in your cube dwellings to buy them, too. Pit the fish together for fights when you are bored at work

You can even add fun factor to it like whoever loses pays for lunch. :p:D

(and don't forget to play the Mortal Kombat movie soundtrack while they do battle!)

Hermit crabs are aways neat.

You should get a wet/dry tank ( I mean part of it is under water and part of it is land, not sure what it's called) and have a variety of animals in it.

A lizard pf some sort would be sort of cool... i would stay away from snakes/spiders in an office setting. :)
You could make them a neat little "home" too... although they have to eat crickets so you'd have to feed them live ones.

I like the pet of the secretarial variety. Finding the right one can be hard, but if you do, they're quiet, very helpful with mundane tasks and usually tuck away under your desk for the majority of the day.

A lizard makes a much better office pet than a snake, snakes scare some people. You can get a bearded dragon lizard or even a blue tongued skink if you want something that looks more like a snake.
