I'm looking to buy a set of skis/boots/bindings and I have almost no idea how to go about this process. I've been trying to find some ski forums online, but to no avail. To give you an idea of my skill, I have skied black diamonds at Dodge Ridge and Northstar decently, definitely not great, but I can get down w/o falling. I'm not looking to buy a top of the line model, just a solid economical model, sort of like the Athlon XP 1700+'s. It would be nice if I could get everything for 400 or less.

Those seem to be pretty good, and the price is a good deal cheaper than others, but I'm not so sure about the retailer, GearDirect.com. I can't find anything about them on ResellerRatings. Any help would be appreciated.
