Right now, I have 8GB card. I had 32GB card but it was stole with my digital camera. I also have two 2GB cards too. I take large photo most of the time. What about you guys?

I have a 32GB card primarily. Then I bought a pack of 4 8GB cards. I keep one in my camera sling, one in my tripod bag, and one in the glove box of each car. This way if I forget my primary card (which happens more than I care to admit) I have a pretty good chance of having a backup available so I don't miss out on good opportunities.

Until I got my D7000 (which has slots for two cards), I subscribed to the logic that having several 4GB cards on hand was safer than using one 16 or 32GB card, in case of the card failing and losing everything on it. Now I keep two 16GB Class 10 cards in the camera, the second configured to back up the first. Have never come close to filling them.

Background: My wife and I are amateurs with point and shoot cameras, no need for RAW or anything super fast.

Over the past decade we have amassed a collection of around 18 SD cards in varying sizes and speeds from 2GB class 4 up to 32GB class 10. Most are 8GB class 6 with a few 16GB. Going forward they'll be at least 16GB or larger.

I have a 32GB in my Canon T4i. It's good for a little over 1000 shots in RAW. I keep a spare 16GB in my bag just in case.

32GB in a D700. I've filled it several times. Though it's recommended that you use several smaller cards as if one of those that's loaded dies, you're boned.

64GB in my 70D. Probably more than I need, but gives me the freedom to take as many videos as I want.

CF cards, two 128GB, one 32GB, and two 16GB.
SD cards, one 32GB, and one 16GB.

Filled up the CF 32GB once in RAW+JPEG on continuous shots mode with the Canon 5D mkii highest resolution.

I once traveled with two 128GB CF cards for 6 weeks, there were plenty of space left on both cards with close to 5000 RAW images and several hours of videos (at highest resolution).

Almost all 16 GB. Got my cameras in the past year or two. And 16GB is around $10, which is negligible. A 32 GB is pushing $20 and I don't see myself using it.

For my D7100, I have a 16GB card in slot 1 for RAW, and an 8GB Eye-Fi in Slot 2 for medium JPG.

I have probably five or six 8GB cards laying around.

Very interesting to see what size you got for your digital camera. I just got a new Canon Powershot SX50 HS I was not sure 8GB is enough. I am going to use for video and large photo I think 32GB is good enough for me. I should get rid of two 2GB cards.

Sounds like a good plan, Rottie. I use the same camera now for nearly all my work. But, I don't do video. The 32GB should work OK.

You still in NY?

I have two 16GB cards in my camera (it has two slots).

I could have gone with 32 but figured 2 16 's is more than enough. Went for a 1 week trip and I only got into the 2nd card near the end of the trip and had a spare in my camera bag.

Oddly, I was able to fit way more pictures per card than the camera said I had left.

Just looked at my GoPro Hero2 with a 16 GB in it. Display says it can record 2h 20 min at 1080p and 30 fps, which is more than enough for most applications. Battery would probably run out before the memory -- plugging in would make that a non-issue.

Go with a minimum of 16GB.

I wish I had seen your post earlier today before this deal died, 32GB Sony class 10 SDHC for $13.99 with free shipping. It will be back.

I'm going strong with one 8GB CF, fit 1400 RAW photos on it :D

Have not run out of space with this one yet, I had 2x1GB before which fill up quickly with my style of shooting.

Hey Corkyg...
I am back in California since Jan 2014 I was not too happy at school I only have 1 week left to finish it.
Anyway I check out at MacMall today (I am a Mac fanboy now :)) I saw Trenscend (whatever the brand name is) 32GB version is 21.99 and 16GB for only 8.99 I am thinking about 2 16GB card for less and like Imp mentioned about 16GB can go last 2+ hours full 1080@30fps I think it is perfect for me I usually take video at least 15 min or less for youtube blog and a 12 megaplex photo.

Yeah I decided to go with two 16GB cards for less than one 32GB card. Thanks. MacMall sells 16GB Class 10 UHS-1 for 8.99
