Do I use a 3.25" die for 80mm and a 2.5 for 60mm? If I had metric dies would I use the fan size or smaller?

Thanks

I am trying to find the size of an electrician's die to cut the fan hole in my case. It would be alot better than a holesaw..but if someone knows the size of the holesaw used for the 80mm and 60mm cut outs that would be cool too.

Go to a hardware store and find the hole saws. Most have the "mm" listing as well as the inch listing on the package. I bought Milwaukee hole saws and they all had the "mm" size listed. The electrician sets I saw didn't have the proper sizes BTW. Good Luck! :D

80mm = 8cm
1in = 2.54cm
therefore...
80mm = 3.15in

For reference, I used a 3.5in hole saw to cut holes for a 92mm fan, which worked well.
