What size are northbridge fans?

I need to replace one on my epox 8k7a mobo... would a 486 cpu fan fit? Is it a specific mm like 10mm?

You might consider slapping a big old fanless heatsink on it instead; small fans are generally really noisy. The temp on my northbridge has actually been less with this than it ever was with the 40mm fan that came with it. The only difficulty I had with this heatsink was that the plastic holder-in-place-thingies were a little too short, so I had to use a thermal epoxy instead of a thermal grease. I have no regrets, though, because it works so well for me.

I'm trying to sell the motherboard and didnt want to sell it off with a dead northbridge fan but now im thinking i should put it up on fs/t forum as there might be people who might want to do what u suggested anyway....thanks.
