What site do you go to to read about Video games...

I've been going to ign.com for a bit, and I'm tired of the long time to load from page to page, the flashy ads that make the real content hard to read, and the difficulty in finding simple things on the site.

There's got to be something much better out there... what would you guys recommend?

I go to IGN for all my content. I disagree with your thoughts on the site, as it's always easily readable and loads fast. I used to use Gamespot, but IMO it's turned into a pile of crap over the past 3-4 years.
 
But everytime you go to the next page on a review, it loads the background, but then loads the white behind the text LAST so you have time to see the ads. That is annoying and takes forever.

I agree with you as well. I have tried a lot of review sites, but none are as simple as IGN. yeah the ads are there, but just skip em with one click.

yep. since i have adblock plus and firefox, i dont even see the ads anymore!
 
shacknews/gamespy... shack generally has more general gaming news, so i like them better. gamespy is just the occasional review
