Is there a site that I can download all the hardware updates in one file like a zip and then extract them all for later use, as I rebuild a lot of computers and like to send them out with all the latest patches but I hate logging on and finding each patch for, video, motherboards, monitors etc. I couldnt find it on Mircrosoft.com maybe Im looking in the wrong place. Thanks

Microsoft is a not bad source but to get the latest versions, it's better to go directly to the manufacturer's site.

Patch? Are you talking about OS patches or hardware drivers? I assume you mean drivers.

You're not going to find everything in one nice little bundle. Go to the manufacturers site and download their latest drivers. Store them in a file on your pc. When you do a "rebuild" for a customer, just burn the files for their hardware to a disk and include it with the system.

Ok thanks, yeh I did mean drivers it was a long night.
Would have been good to get it all in one nice little bundle.

if you mean find one site that has driver updates for all kidns of hardware, then you might want to pay for a subscription to www.windrivers.com. They're not going to put stuff in one big zip file, because that would be huge, but whenever a new driver comes out they have it. I used to go there sometimes until they went subscription based. Hopefully this is what you mean. then again, they might not have absolutely everythign. If you build that many computers, why don't you just keep all the drivers you need on hand in a big zip file yourself? then you can update it whenever soemthing new comes out.
