Our reason for going is because my best friend's girlfriend won a bikini contest and the finals are in Vegas. We will be there for a full week, so looking to get in a bunch of cool things to do.

I'll pick my favorite ideas out and make a poll, the winnars shall be what we do.

Pics of girl to make you guys give some good responses! I will add more as I find them

Who thought this was going to be a thread about Sin City, the movie, and discussions about JAlba and other female costars of said movie?

"Her crowned for the contest she won"
btw- the girl who isnt wearing the crown is cuter than the winner!!!!

Cirque de Soleil was fantastic ... we saw Mystere when I was there in November. Company sponsored trip included a David Copperfield show ... highly overrated, don't waste your cash! Wander the strip, ignore the prostitute peddlers and as Mugs mentioned, check out GameWorks

I've never seen any of the Cirque du Soleil shows, but I highly recommend Penn & Teller's show. It's hilarious.

Ka, the Cirque show at the MGM grand, I felt was the best I have seen so far. I also saw Mystere, which was very good as well, and some local traveling Cirque shows.

I'd also suggest Blue Man Group

Climb Mt. Charleston. It's the time of year when you can climb the southern trail without ice gear. It's a great day of climbing unless you're not in good shape, then it can be hell.

I'm visiting in October and will climb the Mt. with my brother. It will be our 3rd or 4th summit.

Red Rock is cool too. You can rent motorcycles for that trip if you ride. Otherwise you can rent a Segway and scoot around town.

Have fun!

I didn't climb the mountain but I've been to both Mt. Charleston and Red Rock. Those were things I did with the family when I went. Great times, but looking to do new stuff I haven't done before. Blue Man group might be a good idea. How much do these shows run? I guess that's something I could google...

See one of the Cirque shows ? they?re all awesome
Go to the Hard Rock and pick up hotties and gamble
Go to the Peppermill lounge ? super dark with a fire pit and cool retro velvet couch thingies
Go to the Rio Voodoo Lounge ? on top of the Rio (or was?) awesome view. Very dark. Fish-bowl drinks with dry ice.
Go on the Big Shot ride @ Stratosphere (before drinking)
Ride the roller coaster on top of New York New York (before drinking)
Gamble
Drink heavily

I used to live there but haven?t been back in 3.5 years and things change quickly in Vegas, but that?s some of the better stuff I remember.

go oogle the pirate chicks outside treasure island -> realize two hundred 13 year old children are doing the same thing -> get disgusted -> and then...

as a ton of people have mentioned, do cirque (mystere, zoomanity, whatever)
penn and teller = overrated imho
sieg and roy = fvcking retarded, do they even do shows anymore?
lots of good impersonators, find whatever floats your boat
hit the new rides at the stratosphere
gamble to your heart's content, but stay away from big money tables if you don't have the kwan - proportion/distribute your money before you get there, and stick with it
DONT GAMBLE ON CREDIT

incredible strip joints, lounges, decadence goes up with your willingness to pay
seedier districts - you can find anything and everything
rent a roadster/sports car if you're there for awhile, not much beats just rollin down the strip in a murcielago
live it up
