That's why I like the South Beach diet more.
- Whole grain bread and whole wheat pasta is acceptable ("good carbs")
- Coffee is acceptable
- If you eat white bread, SBD tells you to dunk it in olive oil to slow absorption of sugars.
- Your "habit cheat" food (i.e. daily bowl of ice cream) can be integrated into the diet. Ice cream is preferred to other desserts as the fat slows absorption of sugars.
- ZERO potential health risks (Atkins is healthier than no diet, but there is still argument about the long term health effects of ketosis)

Hey..here is an idea. How about stop following fad diets, and doing what you know is right? I do the things the south diet beach says (sort of) without "following" a diet. This sh!t pisses me off. You don't need to follow a "diet" that some person made to get rich.
