Hmmm:

Bones
The Simpsons (Sunday only)
House
Beauty and the Geek
Survivor
American Body Shop
The Chapelle Show

Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head that we are currently recording. The list would be a bit longer if I included all the shows that we were recording but stopped due to cancellation/show ending.

How fat are you?
God damn that's a lot of TV to be watching. You have kids, go outside and play with them. Go to the park or Zoo. get a hobby.

There is absolutely nothing on TV that I watch with regularity. I will flip on the TV for back round noise and just leave it on History Channel or Discovery.

My wife and I have completely different tastes in TV. I watch less than she does, but we do have 2 TIVOs. One in living room and one in our bedroom:

Living Room:

Days of Our lives
Simpsons
PTI
Trucks!
Backyardagains
Flip That/This/Them/Those House
House
Heroes
Lost
Solitary2.0
Supenatural
ER
The Shield
Nip/Tuck
Live! With Regis and Bag of Antlers

I watch Supernatural,Heroes and Solitary with her.

Bedroom:

Ultimate Fighter
Any UFC that is on free tv
WEC Wreckage
Family Guy
Dora the Explorer
Build it Bigger
Motorweek (PBS)
Nova
Nascar races
Maggie and the Ferocious Beast
Denise Austins Workout dealie

As you can see, I watch most of the little bit of TV I do in my bedroom.

I swear between us both, we delete about 60-70% of what we record.

Peace

My kid is four months old . . . it's nice to have a show or two recorded when he makes up in the middle of the night. Plus, my wife works second shift. So she watches her stuff during the day in between taking care of our kid and housework, and I watch my stuff in the evening while I'm watching him. You skip through commercials, you can watch a show in half the time, usually - less if it's a reality show, they have a lot of fluff. We get out and do lots of things, take the kid for a walk, mountain bike, etc. It's just that the DVR has replaced going out to movies and renting movies.

Did you try plugging an ext hd in? I plugged a USB2 320gb into a SA 8300 and tripled my storage. They don't really advertise that you can do it but it's usually pretty easy.
