depends how much money you have. I figure you'll want an actualy large jump in performance so i'm not gonna recommend you get a gf2mx since well, its not that much faster. Get a radeon or a gf2 i'd say. v5 6000 or gf2 ultra if money just seems to burn a hole in your pocket

What is the rest of your system like? Hate to see you buy a new $300 card only to install it on an old Celeron 300A@450 type of system where the performance increase would be small.

GeForce SDR should hold you over untill next spring.

Don't be tempted to get the GTS Ultra now. It will be expensive.

If you can, sell the GeForce SDR and buy the GeForce 2 MX for around $100. That should hold you over until next spring when the NEW Nvidia video card will be out.

Like u said, no point to upgrade to a GTS with a celeron.
so this generate another question... What other things should i upgrade?
Anyone know how fast the CPU my motherboard can handle?(Abit BE6 not revision 2!!)
I want to buy something like a P3-700e and oc it to 800+, possible? need another upgrade?
I want to upgrade monitor, cpu, ram..... simply just want to buy a new computer for a low low low low price.

Wait until P4 comes out after the holidays and fast P3's will be cheap.

Geforce2 GTS if you don't want to wait. It will be in Spring of 2001 last I heard until the NV20 will be out and that will cost $350+ probably. Someone by the name of Untamo was selling some 32 meggers for $180 in the For Sale/Trade forum but you'll have to check since I'm not sure if he still is. I wouldn't go with a GF2 MX.

A GF2 GTS should be fine for your system. If you look on some Anandtech benchmarks, at 1024x768 and up (where you will be playing games!), a Athlon 700 is no faster than a P3 500. I'm looking into getting one but I can't get the money.
