Okay so having trouble coming up with a specific job title for what i do currently but just gunna give a list and let me know what you guys out there have as titles that i may fall under:

Flash MX 2004 development (no major graphical work though, just actionscripting and some animation)
PHP development
HTML/Javascript Development
Database manipulation (basic Pl-SQL queries and functions)
Systems support (install software, watch for viruses keep people updated)
Some VB.NET stuff
Installer creation for products being released
Presentations on products
Team working atmosphere (not a team leader though)
I'd say 4 years experience doing this sort of stuff.

Overall job means i'm developing applications for use on the web or on CD while presenting those products to my superiors and others getting ideas on how to improve and taking them back to make those improvements.
Job currently has no title for me except for "Programmer I" and we agree that is not even close to correct for the stuff i do.
I was thinking something more along the lines of "Applications Developer/Analyst II" from job postings on monster.com

Often times companies have a set of strict rules that must be adhered to when it comes to titles because the title directly correlates to a a pay scale. I'm pretty much in the same boat you are with the generic "Programmer I" title when I haven't actually programmed in months. Here are some suggestions without getting to specific:

Application Developer
Software Developer
Programmer Analyst
Web Developer
Software Specialist

And virtually any combination of the above. ;)

If you're not going to be helpful, then maybe you should stop posting. :)
