Hey everyone I FINALLY!!! built my PC over the weekend and love it so far, I was waiting until the Lanboy Air case came out and then I finally picked up everything.
for this, (look @ my sig for the rest) I'll say once again I have the Lanboy Air case, my motherboard is an MSI Big Bang XPower and I am running an i7 950 on it with no overclocking (yet) with a Corsair H50 as the CPU Cooler.
I have the OC Dashboard hooked up and right now typing this my CPU is sitting at 27°C and my System temp (is this the temp inside the case)? is 32°C.
Now, is this normal for idle temps pretty much? If I play Metro 2033 the CPU gets up to about 30-32°C. I have NOT run Prime95 yet however I just want to know, for stock everything (ie. no overclocking of ANYTHING) what should the temps sit at, and with prime95 running full load for say, a half hour, what should it sit at?
I plan on adding another 5850 or waiting on a much better card thats somewhat affordable and adding another one, so this PC has a 1000W PSU (Corsair I think, can't remember off the top of my head).
BTW if anyone is wondering about the case, it looks amazing and the yellow isn't nearly as bright as it looks on the box, it looks nice.
I'm tempted to hit the OC Genie button on my motherboard however I just want to know what the stock temps should be and if I'm good, I think those temps are really good are they not?
