I have a geforce4 ti 4200 running at stock speed with stock cooling.
I just got a thermaltake hardcano II that has 2 probes.
I stuck it under the heatsink, it did not go back very far but
it is reading 47C !!
That seems pretty hot to me all i was doing was having the folding@home
display open.
I know the hardcano probably isnt that accurate +-2/3C.
Anyways is this anything to worry about?
Thanks

Nope, that's about right... right now my FX5900 is running in 2D mode with the GPU at 75 Mhz and the RAM at 940 Mhz and the temp is reading 38 C. Since your GPU doesn't throttle down, it's running at at least 250 Mhz... so your's is running about 3 times as fast and probably doesn't have as good a heatsink/fan as the FX5900 reference design like mine has... so about 10 C higher isn't hard to believe.
