What should I use to polish the scratches out of my glasses? I'm getting annoyed with these blurry spots on my glasses. Obviously, it has to be 100% optically correct. Permanancy, cheapness, and ease of use would be a plus too.

Yep, they've had it.

If you try to polish it out yourself, you will change the shape of the lens so that you no longer have a blurry spot due to scratching, but you will have a blurry spot due to the changed shape of the lens. Plus if you have any coatings applied to the lens, e.g. anti-reflection, anti-scratch, these will be taken off.

Best bet is to take it back to you optomerist, they should be able to repolish (to the correct shape) and re-apply coatings, for less that the cost of new lenses.

Good luck!

Just order a new set from Zenni, only $20 for alloy or $30 for stainless steel, includes 1.6 index polycarb lens and anti-scratch coating is $5 extra. Then when they arrive just throw your old glasses away.
