what should I upgrade?

I have a Dell 1.5 P4, 256Mb pc800 rdram, Radeon 7200, and am looking to upgrade. I only have $300 to work with, and I am not sure what I should sink my money into. I play a lot of video games, so I really want it to be able to run future games well. Rdram is so expensive, I have even considered trying to assemble a cheap system instead of upgrading my current one. Any suggestions?

new processor definately... get a 2.4 Ghz 533 FSB if your motherboard supports that bus speed... video card would also make a big difference if you're into games... also, Windows XP tends to use a lot of RAM, so 512 would be better if you're going to play games

Well, I am having some trouble finding info on my motherboard....it came out before the P4 went to 533fsb. Processor, rdram, and decent video card = $$$ too.....I regret the day I ever considered rambus memory

For gaming, your best upgrades are going to be the memory or the video card. You could upgrad the video to a Radeon 9500 for around $100 - $150.
