What should I upgrade to?

I use my system to watch TV, play a game or two of reversi, solitare, minesweeper. I'll edit a video two or three times a year and scan a photo once or twice a week.

How much power do I need?

Honestly, if thats all you do, i would go for a LOW power consuming chip. You dont need the power, you should work on the energy now. Trying to get the most you can with the least amount of energy draw.

Truth be told, I just don't have the time to "play" on my computer that I had a few years ago. My game contollers and steering wheel have more dust than the inside of my case.
