It's been about 2 years since I did any major upgrade. One thing I noticed was the fan on my 6600GT came off of its axis and doesn't spin anymore. I've noticed when I'm watching streaming Lost in HD, the screen will start to artifact with purple boxes around the taskbar and top of the screen. I don't really game all that often, but I do like to watch HD content and record it off my HDTV card. I was thinking about a 4830 replacement vid card. I've also seen deals lately on RAM, if I upgraded to 6gb would I notice a big difference? Thanks
