What should I upgrade? I cant decide!

Ok heres my current gaming comp specs.

Asus P4T
Socket 423 1.7GHZ p4
256 pc800
Visiontek GeForce3(Original)
SB Live! Value
2 x 40GB IBM 60GXP
Plextor 16x10x40
Toshiba 16x DVD
Klipsch Promedia 4.1

I got some fun money from my wife for my birthday, and dont know what to blow it on! Its around $600 and im looking to upgrade for UT 2003. Im thinking I could get an MSI 845G Max, a p4 1.6 Northwood, and some PC2700 and make a fatty OC system. But then again I could just upgrade my VC to a TI4200? Help!

yeah mobo proc and ram would be a good idea if you dont have a nice moniter. you've got nice speakers.

Monitor is good also. Dell P1110 21".

I'd wait if I were you, that system is pretty good..maybe pick up another stick of ram for 512 total and keep it until some bigger and better stuff comes out.

I'd go for a mobo/proc/mem upgrade.

Get in on the ground floor with the new 533FSB P4s. That way, you can upgrade just the proc in a year (more or less). 🙂
