what should I tell this professor who ran this internet course

First thing is first, this internet course was pretty unorganized, due dates were random or were changed numerous times, the assignment descriptions were lacking, etc.
I want to let the professor know of all these concerns.... and I'm about 1/10th of a point away from a B.
I'm about to email him now.. but how should I tell the professor about the course problems and hint that it would be nice to get 1/10th of a point or even couple points to be safe, to make sure for the poor functioning?

It's worth a try...

the course was really unlike anything I took before though
The actual professor never did anything, only some TA that didn't know what to do ran the whole thing.

eh.... you're gonna email complaining that the class was unorganized and therefore you deserve a couple points back on your grade? I don't think that's gonna go very far.

Preferably you would know exactly WHERE those points should be coming from. Some homework which was graded badly, some test where the question was ambiguous, etc.....

tell him you've been trying hard, and some misunderstandings occoured a few times while in the class and you would greatly appreciate it if he would be able to slide you about a point or 2 to give you a b rather than a c

teachers hate it when you ask for them to change your grade. you have to convince him that you earned a higher grade than is in the gradebook, not that you deserve one.

Just word it so as not to be an attack on the prof, but a critique on the course material/presentation.

Point out constructively where you felt the problems/conflicting situations were.

Do not attack the TA without specific evidence to back you up. The TA may be a prodigy of the prof.
