Any really good shows? Anything cheap? Food? Sights?

I'm going at the end of October. We're staying at the Luxor.

/end obligatory hooker comments

I won't say you need to see hookers, but at least go see some strippers.

you dont have to go to a strip bar to see naked girls. there are some really good shows that involve boobies.

I was specifically asking (in addition to searching) because shows and attractions change, and maybe the weather will affect some of the outdoor stuff.

Bump for the morning crowd.

shamefully, we did Vegas on such a budget that we didn't see any big shows. a couple free ones, and a lot of walking & sightseeing & drinking.

if i had the money, i would check out one of the Cirque du Soleil shows. they were so highly recommended by everyone we spoke to.

The weather will affect the outdoor activities. You will now be able to enjoy them.

We will be in the low 90's at day time and the high 60's at night.

Much will depend on your tastes.

Many ideas/attractions/guidelines have been posted in previous threads that come up every few months.

About the only thing new since the last thread is that the Wynn has opened up at the Northern end of the strip. (Luxor is at the Southern end).

indeed, the Wynn was open when I went there in July... it's a beauty. even to see it from the strip is pretty cool.

i highly recommend the Ferrari showroom which is attached to the Wynn.

Vegas.Com will help you determine which shows/artists are active during your visit.

Some locals may also be willing to spend some effort for you depending on needs.

Also, Frys is about 2 miles down LV Blvd from the Luxor

If you can get tickets, go see Avenue Q. It's a hoot.
With songs like "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist," "What do you do with a BA in English" and "The Internet is for Porn," you really can't go wrong.

If you plan to go to a show buy tickets now. My mistake was waiting till I got to vegas and there were to tickets left for the shows I wanted to see.
