What should I pay for a used Compaq Armada model 1540DM:

150-MHz MMX Pentium Processor
12.1-inch CSTN display
48 mb RAM
1.5 gig hard drive

My wife is being offered on for $600 but my little bit of research says the going rate is probably under $500. Feed back please?

 
Personally I wouldn't pay more than 400. Dual scan screens are not worth much at all and the P150's cannot keep up with much. You would be lucky to play a MP3 and browse the web without skipping.
 
I would say $400-$450 at the most. There are some sites that sell used laptops on the net. Do a search in your favorite search engine and check their prices. I know that a 150 with Dual Scan is not worth $600 now a days.
