Probably gonna be eBay based. Just a small thing on the side. I have to register a legal business name. Any ideas? I could be selling anything from electronics to camping supplies to miscellaneous stuff.

Edit: I was thinking Wal-Mart. Has a certain ring to it.

If you sell it directly under your name you don't have to have a business name, although then it'll be unlimited liabililty to you directly and everything will be taxed as personal income. Basically, just figure out exactly how you want to do things and see if it's even worth the cost of opening up an LLC or something. I opened and LLC and like it, limited liability and obviously difference in taxation.

It's just going to be a sole proprietorshit, not an LLC. I could just use my reseller's license, but to get into some distributor membershits I have to have a legal business name, DBA, etc.

Call it Prenda. It means stolen goods in latin (or so an online dictionary tells me).

I'd seriously consider an LLC just to limit the liability to yourself just in case.
