It is just an example: Suppose that I have this configuration for a specific kind of memory:
Memory Specification: 2 ? 3 ? 3 ? 7 ? 1T.
CAS Latency = 2
tRCD (RAS to CAS Delay) = 3
tRP (RAS Precharge) = 3
tRAS (Active to Precharge) = 7
Command Rate = 1
I would like to know if somebody could explain how to understand and use all these numbers. Is there a simple explanation for it?
I have been working with single channel (1 x 512MB) but I want to change to dual channel ( 2 x 512MB). What I need to do to get the best perfomance?
What is the relation between the numbers above and the processor ?
Thanks
