I currently have some 3/4 inch lamb chops sitting in the fridge at home with a light coating of olive oil, crushed garlic, and some pepper.

Now, the question is, what should I have with my chops? I'm currently thinking some roasted asparagus spears with sprinkled parmesan cheese and lemon juice or some buttered, roasted artichoke hearts.

Anyone else with some ideas?

EDIT: Currently going to cook my chops by braising them and cooking with a red-wine reduction sauce with carrots, onions, celery and maybe a little bit of potato.

Hash browns with a cream of celery sauce, some various other herbs and spices. Throw in caserole dish, place pork chops on top. Throw in over for a few hours.
Its a mouth orgasm. I have the exact recipe laying around here somewhere...May need to dig that out and cook it up tomorrow.

Interesting, interesting...

I might try to experiment and try to do the recipe on the spot tonight. If not, I might just expand the red-wine reduction into a meat/veggie stew and eat the whole thing with some french rolls and salad.

I wish! I'm way too lazy to make both and the woman is way too lazy to wash dishes for both.

Grill the asparagus on the BBQ, after having basted them with a bit of olive oil and black pepper.

Bon appetit,

The best thing to have with lamb roast or lamb chops is mint jelly.

It is available in most super markets and it is excellent.
