What should I have done ?

I was sitting outside starbucks on a chair placed close to the curb and suddenly this car's bumper hit the back of my chair. It pushed me ahead. I looked at the driver and then he backed it a bit. I was ok and started chatting my friends. The guy never apologized and now I feel I let him go. Atleast he should have been sorry.

Not so close to the curb next time 😉

On a serious note i would have gone up to his car and ask what the fsck his problem was. Unless he apologized. If it was a woman, well i expect stuff like that 😉.

You should have stood up and said something snide in an irate voice.

Like, "So, you learn that in driver's ed or something?", "This isn't GTA you know, it's actually a very BAD thing to hit people with your car", or "I can't believe they let morons like you drive"

Then, if he says anything about how he barely tapped you, say "Yeah, but what about next time?", and if you're feeling like an asshole say your back hurts and ask for his insurance information.

I probably would have reported the incident. Not to be an ass and not to get rich, but you'd be surprised - nagging injuries can come from the stupidest things sometimes... At any rate, even with a 99.9% chance you're fine and it would go no further, if that 0.1% chance comes to pass you'd be glad you reported it.

Givee mee $100, leet mee peeee on your windshieeld, or i'll call the policee and filee a policee reeport.

When I was in 6th or 7th grade or so, I walked between two buses when leaving school. Well, some woman was driving past them (had the STOP signs out, so its illegal to drive by until they've retracted them).

Well she wasn't expecting anyone to step out and she hit me. Not sure how fast she was going, maybe 20-25 or so, wasn't enough to knock me off my feet by any means. She had a look of horror on her face, and I just shrugged it off. She asked if I was ok and I said, yeah, I'm fine and then went home. Well two funny things here: one there is a cop who sits right around the corner (but clearly could have seen it happen). The other is that my sister even told him and he was like well you could sue her, but never asked to make a report or anything. Lets just say that cops in the town I used to live in don't exactly have a great reputation (and definitely aren't considered to be the smartest people in the world).

Oh well, only got a bruise on the arm, and I'm sure she'll think twice when driving around a school.

you don't really know how fast 20-25mph is, do you ? I'm sure it was much slower than that...
