I just got 100$ for fixing a computer and my current computer isn't working I have:

Intel Celeron 2.20
512 PC2700
Power Q 350W (I think is messed up)
Asrock P4al-800
6600GT 8x AGP

Now my friend let me use his Gigabyte motherboard and A64 2800+ but his motherboard doesn't work. So I was going to get a AMD motherboard to run that 2800+ but then I heard that if I run it with DDR333 that it will fry my CPU or make it run worse. But i also need a new PSU. So I can afford Motherboard + PSU but I will have a ram problem then, and 512 DDR400 costs 35$ for CHEAP and I'm 15 so I don't have a job to buy w/e I want. Anyone have any ideas or information on how I can get running with 100$? I NEED a motherboard bottom line.

I think I deff need a new PSU which I can get a Antec 300W with a 69$ Nforce3 -250 but... then will my ram be an issue. Will it ruin my CPU or any of my parts or just give performance slowdown?

Whoever told you running at 333mhz will fry your proc is an idiot. It will be a slight performance hit, but certainly not dangerous. The 2800 is socket 754, right? I don't really no much about those as far as which boards are the best. Get a 300 watt psu from a good brand like fortron, antec, seasonic, ocz, enermax, etc. I would first buy a new psu, see if your computer works. If it does, sell the celeron on ebay as well as your ram, and motherboard, and get a cheap pc3200 1gb kit for like 70 bucks, and buy a good motherboard.

Edit: I won't spend more than 50 bucks on a psu. Here's an enermax for 42 bucks. Text 20 amps on the 12v should be plenty.
