I want the AMD Athlon 64 3000+. But I don't know which one to get. Should I get the Socket 754 or the Socket 939? Which one would be faster?
 
It depends on how often you upgrade, at stock speeds the S754 outperforms the S939 3000+ as it has a 200mhz clock speed advantage and it costs a bit less and so do S754 motherboards, but if your going to upgrade within 6-18months I'd go w/ S939 also.
