her birthday is tomorrow so something i can get locally (not that it is hard to find things locally in the 4th biggest city in the country, but still)

OP,perhaps you'd be better off not getting her anything/doing anything, a lot of older woman don't consider their birthdays anything to celebrate.Just be your normal,pleasant self and go on about things like any normal day.
