What should i get into?

I am basically clueless on what i will hope to major in. I hear lots of people changing majors multiple times but i cannot decide what to do. I may be a little paranoid or asking this question too soon but better early than late. I am not the strongest in math but i do like the things involved in architecture/engineering of some kind, i like the sound of computer engineering but i took a course in Electrical Engineering a year ago and i hated it, I have no experience or much interest in programming so i guess CS is out of the question. Currently at school we use a program called AutoDesk Inventor and i love the neat things i can do there but i have no idea what it takes to get into that kind of work. I know it sounds like i want you to decide what i should major in but i just want to see if i am overreacting to the situation. If you could give me any advice on your experiences or how you landed in your line of work, i appreciate it. If any of it makes sense?!!🙂

Choose a good school and take a bunch of core classes your first year. Then decide what you want to major in.

Right now USF is my only choice basically because i want to stay close to my family and they have a great engineering program and i have a good choice playing soccer for them.

ding! ding! ding!

get your core classes out of the way first, and do a little "exploring" along the way. Look at the list of classes being taught that semester, and if you see anything that looks interesting, talk to the students in those classes, the professors who teach them, and maybe take one or two (always need at least one "filler" class to round out a full load, or to fall back on if another class is cancelled or full 🙂 ) Talking to your school counselor may help too. What sort of stuff really interests you? that's a good place to start.

spend a year undeclared, taking a bunch of intro courses.

it shouldn't hurt your prospects of graduating in 4-5 years, as most college have a set of core classes that are required by every major.

Dude, it does not matter. Just get your degree. Whatever seems intereresting at the time. You will end up changing jobs every 3-10 years anyway.

Just make sure the masters degree is in someting you like.

Get to college and then find out. Plenty of people switch majors multiple times, so dont feel pressured to nail down something right now
