What should I expect to pay for a LGA-775 3.4GHZ EE ?

waste of money deluxe. as an improvement, anyway. edit2: even if you were building a new computer with it, there are far better deals, as you would have to pay about a thousand bucks for the CPU...

about $1000 for just the cpu alone. but if your getting a new mobo, ddr2 ram and and the cpu, id say about $1500-$1600 for those 3 items. that if u got 1gb of ram.

There are other MUCH faster CPU Slash Motherboard combinations that would give you a really large performance improvement ? and they are not made by Intel

But to answer your question its NOT worth it in the slightest .. if you?re a gamer you could always just get a new video card and call it a day.

Until Intel release a Decent CPU maybe over the next 2 years stay away from them.

Everything they offer at the moment isn?t worth a donkey?s BE~HIND ?. And i would still buy a donkeys behind over Intel CPU?s anyday ?

Unless it was a budget system only used for web surfing. Then I?d probably just get a dell? ^___^ very cheap and I like black case?s

In the neighborhood of $800. The 3.73 EE would run closer to that magical $1000 mark.

And as far as improvement over 3.2E ... Not really. I'd save my money if I were you.
