What should I expect PPD-wise with a 980X and Tri GTX 480s?

160K cobblestones/day on PrimeGrid. 😀

Oh, did you mean Folding@Home? :sneaky: Then I don't know.

Perhaps this will be more helpful:

The only problem being that I can't find a points-per-node conversion value anywhere.

Edit: Based on Brownstone's post, I'm going to guess 40KPPD

Around 30k PPD running roughly 24/7/365.

More likely zero PPD though, since the rig will most likely spontaneously combust.

The video cards probably won't do much better than my OC'ed 470's, so I will guess 14-15k each ppd. As for the cpu, I would guess 20-30k ppd for it, but I don't have a good feel for that one.

So 75k ppd for the box is not unreal. Now if I could find a good case for an SR2 that didn;t break the bank, I would get one for my 5520's.

Thats the problem with the SR2.
Mountain Mods case or nothing for the time being.
Dam nice case, but dammmmmm!

Besides several different MM cases that will work, there is also Danger Den Tower 29, and the Lian Li PC-P80 and upcoming V2120.

I have a similar problem, except even my 12 guage wire will melt over 25-30 amps....

and.... just run new wire... in steel conduit along the wall with lower gauge wire... rip out if you decide to move.. or leave it incase someone like me decides to move in 😀

Getting 69,000 currently. This is just an initial run though.

The three GPU clients does eat into my CPU PPD.

22.02 give or take. I just let it run on high priority while I am not doing anything. If I get a 2684, the it goes to about 28.25 on some cases. Its the bonus that nabs such high points.

I have slowed down the last week have not been folding as much, but you can get the idea looking at my statistics. For a few day, I could not get a big unit, I was stuck with smaller ones.

I found out that F@H on my GTX 480s is a good stability tester when trying out overclocking. Instability will results in "NaN" errors fairly quickly. Currently playing around with individual voltage settings. When clocked at the same speeds, each card requires different voltage.
