ok i just saw the thing for the cognet service.
100mb for 1000$.
I want to get it but i need to run some sort of servers and get paid so i can pay off the 1000$ monthly.Can someone help me dicide what i can do with the bandwith to get paid?
I have 4000$ that i can spend on equipment.

What the heck kind of connection is giving you 100 Mbps for $1000 a month?! A T3 is only 45 Mbps, and they're way more than $1000 a month! :Q

I know there is a connection in Utah that is 100Mbps download and upload for $40 to $60 a month and its not shared. That's your bandwidth. Its by a company called Switchpoint. They can easily upgrade to 1000 Mbps up and down i think if they wanted too. I talked to someone in Utah who has it a while back. I really wish it would come here.

You have a few options.

if you are willing to drop some big cash, you could host many cs or ut or q3 servers and charge clans a monthly fee. You could also offer to host files for fileplanet for $XXX a month.
