Man, I just can't get through a game anymore. I get bored so fast...it's sad. I've tried a bunch of games recently, HL2, KOTOR2, Dungeon Siege 2, and none of them keep me interested for longer than 15 or 20 minutes. Hell, I can't even play Gran Turismo or Madden anymore without getting bored. I just get bored and don't want to play anymore. The only game I can play for like an hour or an hour and a half now is CS:S, and even that is boring b/c its impossible to find a decent server.

Help! What can I do? Recommend something please :(

I don't want to play a MMORPG or BF2, I'm looking for something single-player.

Im suffering the same illness!!! Games just dont amuse me as much as they did before. I have the other following passtimes that fill in my former diabloII//starcraft time : Go get drunk//work out//go swimming//waste money on ebay

Since you can play CSS for more than an hour, i suggest battlefield 2. Its a pretty fun and amuses me for like 2 hours at a time. especially trying to fly! Thats tonsa fun! :D

Me too...but I like to have a little downtime to play some games a few times a week...except now I get bored so I end up watching TV or chatting.

This is when I get online and start TKing in which ever game I'm in...You'd be surprised but it is fun, indeed.



...You sure you don't want to give BF2 a try ::evil grin::

this is this crazy game called "Real Life"....with all sorts of scanty clad females, sun, wind, rain, crazy graphics...i think you'll be impressed :D

Give Tiger Woods 2005 a try, and create your golfer from scratch ... surprisingly deep, and it takes a while to become good. I know you're a golfer, so if you haven't tried this, do it! Otherwise, just wait for the long winter months, and while the snow is flying in Conneticut, you'll find games have broader appeal.

edit: note, I am not proud of this whatsoever.

UT2k4. It's about the only game I can play anymore. I've got Max Payne 2, Call of Duty, Far Cry and KotOR 2, all virtually unplayed. The farthest I've got is an hour or so into COD.

No consoles? I'm a PC fan, all I own is a PC, but there are some great single-player games on the Xbox. Well, namely Ninja Gaiden. And God of War on the PS2. Both of those are the bomb. In times where I would barely play my PC games, I'd pick up the Xbox and Izuna Drop ninjas all the way to Zarkhan.

Maybe you should stop playing games for a while. Maybe today's not your day, or you are going through a period of depression. Hope it'll pick back up.

Yea, after CS;S I got bored with it and nothing really appealled to me. All I did was read books. I got tired of that and did nothing for a while. Then BF2 came out and my life had meaning again. Now, I am getting bored with it and can't wait until SS2 comes out.

Everything comes and goes in cycles. Learn to adjust.

lol, thats all i ever do in starcraft. Especially the lotr maps, ill wreck it and try to kill as many allies as possible.

Lying under tanks and getting a rise out of people on bf2 is also fun :)

lol, thats all i ever do in starcraft. Especially the lotr maps, ill wreck it and try to kill as many allies as possible.

It cant stand jackasses like you that try to amuze yourself by making everybody else have a bad time. To your type, I say "F**k off!"

If you are bored with the game and can't find anything else to do, try going outside and getting a life. Maybe see the Sun for the first time in a while, and maybe *gasp* talking to a "RL" girl.

I have gone through the same thing...still in the rut, I downloaded samurize and I have been playing with that and being very happy with it. it is just a little program that lets you make little widgets on your desktop..pretty neat

Pick up Cubase and a midi keyboard and get a software sampler synthesizer and make music. Should offer significant fun and challenge.

Top Spin.. the game is extremely fun and addictive and offers plenty of challenge. I'm still playing it after ~2 years.
