What should I do?

I just got a package today when I got home. The box had already been opened. I've already taken pictures of it sitting on my porch and moved it inside. What should I do next? Is it ok if I open the package the rest of the way and then file a claim with the shipping carrier if anything is missing or should I file the claim first and hold on opening the package? Thanks for the help guys.

I'd call them first and ask what their policy is on this type of thing.
