What Should I Do?

I've tried three different video cards in the past month. They're all X600. The first one I ordered was an MSI X600XT. It didn't work so I got a refund. After the refund, I got a refurb Sapphire X600Pro and it didn't work either. So I sent that one back for a repair. I just got my another refurb Sapphire X600Pro today. And guess what. It doesn't work. I know for a fact that video cards will work in my PC. I've tested it with an X300 and it worked. So what should I do now? Send the card back for yet another refurb one, or just give up on the video card all together?

Have you done any troubleshooting to find out WHY the cards aren't working? If so, what? The odds of getting 3 bum cards are extremely low, which leads me to believe something is wrong with your system (regardless of the fact that the x300 did work).

Well I have the Dell SC420. My brother has the exact same system and he is currently running a Sapphire X600Pro. He got his refurbed from newegg, same as me. I've just been extemely unlucky or my system is just dumb.

Yeah, you should try on another system to see if they work there. If they do, then your system has one hell'va screwed up slot.
You could get your brother's card and put it in your system to see if it works.

I've tried an X300 in my PC and it worked. So it's not my PCI-E slot. When I put the refurbed cards in my brother's computer they dont work either. I think I'm just having really bad luck.

I would suggest not getting a refurb (especialy from Newegg). Or for the inconvenience you could ask from your vendor to get a brand new one because of their quality (or lack of) refurbed cards.
