Ok here is what im faced with.i am buying a new PC in parts.today i got my Motherboard/CPU in i have also recently got a demon 480W PSU.Next i will be buying a Thermaltake Tsunami case 2 SATA hard drives a Geforce 6800GT or ultra and a new copy of windows but this will be over an uknown period of a few months or so (as i was typing this my kids broke a car window from a neighbors car so theres $200)taken from the budget)so anyways should i go ahead and put the motherboard/cpu in my current system and just piece and move the new stuff as i get it? or should i wait till i get everything together to build? its kinda hard looking at them sit in those boxes not using them lol.

Thanks,
Chris

if it is just sitting there and you cant return it then use it. However if this is for gaming and you wont be gaming untill you get that 6800 then return it. Prices will drop while you wait for the time when you have the money. That drop will be money to get a game.

no no returning it is not what i want to do either it will sit till i get everything together or ill use it piece by piece.i cant save money till i have enough to buy it all.with 3 kids and a wife it just would never work out.lol.
