What should I do. Regarding school.

Here?s my situation,

I want to get into Natural Science in college, but I'm currently missing three prerequisites (Physics, Chemistry, and Math536).

I applied to late for college in March, and couldn't get into a pathways program which will have the three courses I'm missing to get into Natural science. So now I'm taking those three courses at an Adult education center.

Yesterday the guidance councilor came and talked with the class about our missing prerequisites to get into our programs at college. He said that if I want to get into social science and courses like that, I can get into them directly and get in for January (this was my plan for natural science).

Those taking the prereq's at the adult school who want to get into the natural science course will not be able to get into the course in January; they will have to take an EXTRA semester at the college before they get accepted for the natural science course.

The extra semester is class's including humanities, phys'ed etc etc, and review classes for physics, chemistry, and math536.

So right now I?m going to this adult school taking these three courses which I will basically have to redo in January. Now I can quit this school, and just do the pathways program in January, and start my natural science course in September. Or I can stay, and redo those three courses in January (mind you the second time will be easier), and get into my program in September.

If those are your only two options, I'd quit the program you're in now, save your time and money and work full-time until January.

The only advantage I can think of staying with your current classes is to become familiar with the material. Unless you are hopelessly bored and getting all A's you may want to stay with it.

I'll try and get an appointment with someone in charge of orientation at the college, see what they say.

Man education in Quebec is a joke. The college is the one who told me to go to this school in the first place. They couldn?t have told me this before I quit my job (been out of high school for a few years) and wasted my time and money.:|
