wait so you got your stuff DURING summer, but summer isnt here yet 😕

and replace your barf video card

256 != always equal a good video card

I would have to agree with Nick. Your next step is certainly a better video card. I would wait until the next generation of nVIDIA and ATi cards come out in a couple in April/May before deciding on which one you want to get. When buying a video card, pay less attention the amount of memory than the GPU. If you can afford both a great GPU and gobs of memory, go for it! Otherwise get a the better GPU. If I absolutely had to buy a new vid card now, I would go for the RADEON 9800 Pro 128MB or the GeForce FX 5900 (non Ultra, non XT, and non SE - plain old 5900!), but you really should wait a bit. Waiting will let you know how well the new cards perform over the current ones as well as drive the price down of the current (old) cards.

Your 5400RPM IDE HD probably isn't a speed demon either, consider replacing it with an SATA HD.

I would have to also suggest a new video card. The 9800 Pro is pretty cheap now....but if you wait until summer there will be a lot more options.

I would also say get a really nice heatsink and fan. I had a Thermalright SP-94 on my 3.0C and it worked quite well. With this extra cooling...I would go ahead and say overclock the s#!t out of it!

i actually went ahead and got a coolermaster aero4 cpu cooler... whatcha guys think about that?
got some antec silver whatever that stuff is called too
however, i noticed on the overclocking guide that just came out that the massive thermalright copper heatsink is supposed to be nice, maybe i should sell my aero4 and get that instead? nay opinions??
o yea when i said i got my stuff during the summer, i meant last summer, sry bout taht
