What should I do my research paper about?

I have to do a research paper for English class, and the sources of information have to be from multiple genres, i.e. TV, books, magazines, newspapers, Internet, so it has to be a topic that there is a lot of information about. I thought about doing the thing about video game activists, but there aren't books on that . Any ideas are appreciated.

There's Civil Rights, Cancer, AIDS, Diabetes, uhm... don't do the World Trade Center cause everyone will do that. If you want something that's actually interesting, you might try uh.. Microsoft? There will be tons and tons of magazine and newspaper articles on that.

Actually it's AP Senior English, so in depth is fine. I think I've settled on the global warming debate though.
